and now for these awesome SLIDERS I created for my son to take in his lunch and actually, the whole family seems to like them. The possibilites for these are endless. I found some whole wheat mini-sliders at our local grocery store. They were on sale, so of course I decided to give them a try. At 100 calories, 4g of fiber and 6g of protein, I thought they'd be a great addition to our weekly meals.
I sent them in my son's lunch today and he was SO excited! Yes, I guess our family is amused easily! Ha! He helped me fill these mini-sliders with Boar's Head low sodium, oven roasted turkey breast, spring mix and one pickle-because he loves them! We also packed apples and grapes, yogurt and an H2Go+ water! My youngest son also enjoys having a mini-slider filled with PB and banana, turkey and cheese or any other variation we can think of!

What's your kiddos favorite lunch meal?
Although I'm not fABulous, I should be because Jillian's 6 week 6 pack is an awesome work out. If only you lived near me to motivate me! :)
ReplyDeleteThose sliders look pretty yummy. I like jillian, bob harper and also have jackie warner this girl has man abs. Some women dont want to look like that but baby I'll take it.
ReplyDeleteOh how i WISH i had fabulous abs!! Definitely a trouble spot of mine.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to bookmark your ab stuff because right now mine are heading towards the opposite of flat.
ReplyDeleteI am sadly not fABulous and my c section scar isn't helping either. I am looking forward to any and all ab tips!
ReplyDeleteawesome on the sliders. Are they a store brand or what?!
ReplyDeleteI love your hummus recipe! So simple. I'll be so much more likely to make it when I don't have to run to the store to buy random ingredients beforehand :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the P90X ab ripper workout, but really, my abs have gotten better just from running rather than doing any specific strength training. The belly bloat really improved when I stopped drinking soda, and made an effort to drink 100+ ounces of water each day, and 3 pieces of fruit each day.
ReplyDeleteGavin's fave lunch is a BLT made with morningstar farms veggie bacon, sliced tomato and lettuce, and just a thin layer of mayo. Today he's taking salmon - yup my kid will eat salmon for lunch! Love kids that are into eating healthy.
