Uh Oh...

I'm very upset right now.

My husband decided to re-do my mom's coffee table for her and it looks awesome...
BUT when I helped him move it back to her house after it was complete...
I lifted TOTALLY wrong and now I'm paying for it.  I am in SO much pain.  My husband had to call off from work and he's helping me take care of the boys and I'm sitting around with a ThermaCare heat pack on my back!  Yea, I sure didn't need this one month away from my half marathon, BUT I'm hoping with a little rest it'll be back to normal sooner rather than later??  We will see.

**Also, I had lots of comments regarding my Greek Yogurt Ranch dip!  I promise that it TASTES exactly the same and your guests will NEVER know the difference...promise!  I usually mix it up and my boys dip veggies and crackers without knowing the difference!!  Plus, my youngest will NOT touch yogurt, so it's a great way to get a serving or two in him every now and then :-) I'm SO sneaky!!!

Oh no!!!! I can totally empathize with you! When Em was 6 months old I was training for a half and working with a trainer. I threw my back out so bad at the gym that I had to be taken out in a stretcher! REST up! You'll make it to your half!

Oh no - I hope you feel better soon! I'm sure you will be fully recovered in time for your half!

Hang in there! I screwed up my knee just a couple weeks before my first half. I was barely running at all, and not longer than 3 miles. Take the time off NOW rather than jumping back in too soon. Have faith in all the training you have done so far!

Don't we all have similar stories? I do hope you will give yourself the time you need to heal. Take care.

Yikes on your back! Hope it's feeling better quickly. I love that you are able to sneak in healthy foods for your kids. I find it so satisfying!
