on a trampoline?

I love to stress to people looking to lose weight and change their lives, that they MUST find an exercise that they ENJOY. They will not commit or make a healthy lifestyle change if it is something they do NOT enjoy...right? Why would someone want to commit to a new way of life, change their eating habits and dedicate time away from their family with some form of exercise that they HATE? This is why I am fascinated by new and revolutionary exercises that burn calories while allowing participants to HAVE FUN!!!

I'm boring. I like the outdoors and a good, running trail is all that I need! Or a bike ride, spin class, a great group fitness class such as kickboxing or boot camp!
For others, they seek adventure. Something different and something TOTALLY out of the ordinary. If you are one of those, then THIS might be for you??

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park
With Americans of all ages trying out unique and creative workouts, a new work out with phenomenal results is trampoline workouts. Did you know that working out on a trampoline takes about 30% more energy than running on a flat surface?
That’s why fitness buffs and newbies are flocking to SkyRobics at Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park (
http://www.skyzonesports.com/), the *world's first* all trampoline, walled playing court.
With the chance to burn up to 1,000 calories just by having fun, SkyRobics is a low impact yet highly effective work outs combine core exercises, advanced calisthenics and strength building aerobics to give you a full body workout.
Locations all across the country, including Boston, St. Louis and Las Vegas.

I could totally see myself having my 32nd birthday at a place like this!! Right? SO FUN!!! Not sure if we have these in Texas, but I know it would definitely be worth a visit just to see what this trampoline workout is all about!

Have you ever tried a fun, workout craze? Did you enjoy it?

No way jose! I don't think I could do that. I hate the feeling of my brain jiggling around in my head..crazy, right. I have not been able to jump on a trampoline without getting a severe headache since I was a kid. I DO think it would be fun though, for the right person!

OMGoodness, that looks like such a fun class! I would go everyday!!! I'm pretty typical with my workouts, cardio and weights. Plus yoga I do at home. I did take Bikram yoga back when it was just starting to get popular back in 2002. I thought it was amazing and got hooked. Then years and years later I moved to AZ and we don't have any Bikram or hot yoga studios here! : (

I can totally see myself trying this. It looks like a lot of fun. When I was little I had a friend that had a trampoline and I loved it.

Whoa! That is pretty cool. I'd end up hurting myself...I'm not even coordinated enough to do step aerobics... LOL

Zumba is hard, too. And I only do it in my living room on my Wii. There is NO WAY I would do all that in front of people. HA!

We can see above trampoline is very large in size and many people can jump together on this trampoline because all people have their separate portion.
