Milk and Granola!

Kraft Foods Launches New Innovation in Snacking with KRAFT MILKBITE Milk & Granola Bars

When I was contacted to try out these new Milk and Granola bars, I accepted and couldn't wait to try them out with my husband and boys!  I thought to myself...my boys LOVE milk and can't get enough of it, so how genius that Kraft paired it with a granola bar...BRILLIANT!
But how do they taste?
We were given two flavors to try, Chocolate and Strawberry.  My boys LOVED the strawberry and although I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, I have to say I LOVED the chocolate!

Each KRAFT MILKBITE Bar combines real milk with whole grain granola and other tasty and nutritious ingredients like fruit or roasted nuts, while providing the same calcium as an 8 oz. glass of milk. I immediately thought to myself, what a great breakfast alternative when you don't have time to prepare a bowl of cereal or oatmeal while you're rushing around in the morning!
The bar was VERY filling and tasted great too!  The box opens and fits perfectly in your fridge to make grabbing one on the go, very simple!

They are also a good source of vitamin D and fiber, include protein (5g), and whole grains (7g), and do not contain any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
Available in five flavors –
Chocolate, Strawberry, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Raisin and Mixed Berry
I'm thinking the PB will be DELICIOUS...but I love all things peanut butter, I just can't help it!

KRAFT MILKBITE Milk & Granola Bars can be found in the refrigerated dairy aisle for a suggested retail price of $3.49.  and trust me, they are worth it!  My husband says they are delicious and brings one each morning.  He says it's much easier than bringing oatmeal and having to prepare it at work!
Keep your eye out for MilkBite in a store near you, very soon!

and now for some news that makes me SO excited...
LOOK AT THIS...
Uh, yea!  BondiBand created my very own, personalized headband!  SO CUTE, right?!
I was SOOO excited when this package arrived, I opened it and to my surprise...there it was!
MOVE IT MOMMA
...in hot pink!  So perfect and wonderful!
I had to test it out, so I wore it on my four mile run today and it felt perfect!
I might have to wear this to all of my upcoming races :-)  ??
Ya know they are a Spring Fever sponsor, so sign up to win your very own headband too!
(remember all it takes is an email to me and you run any day between March 1-15th, you run at your favorite place and you may choose 5K or 10K...lots of choices, so what do you have to lose?!)

I am on Day 5 of my Advocare, 24 Day Challenge!
I feel great and have so much energy.  I felt good on my run today and just taking these supplements, it's going to sound crazy, but it keeps me in check!  I am VERY mindful of what I put into my body all of the time, but I feel like I've really kicked it up in this challenge!
I can't wait to get to the half way point and hopefully see some results and I've been busy looking for some exciting goals to set for the near future, so let's see what I have so far...

MY UPCOMING RACES:

*February 25th Conoco Phillips Rodeo Run-my first 10K

*April 15th Life Time Fitness Indoor Triathlon

* May 26th The Original Mud Run

...with hopefully more to come!!  Any race suggestions??
I'd love to hear some of your favorite races that keep you motivated and strong!

Disclosure:  I received two packages of MilkBite bars in exchange for my honest review of the products.  No other compensation was received and all opinions are 100% mine.

Cute headband, that's awesome. :) I am stewing over what races to do. Looks like I missed the boat on the Phoenix Half, it sold out!! Along with the 10K...so bummed. I wish I had lots of $$ so I could do them all. :)
